Your Quinceanera is fast approaching and it's time to start planning. Everything about this day should be a reflection of you; after all you only get one chance to make a first impression. So: Dream big! Think big!
Think; Location! Location! Location!
It can't be stressed enough how very important the venue is, so first things first! Once you've gotten this elephant out of the way it'll be time for all the fun stuff; finding the dress, sending out invitations, and then choosing members of your damas, chambelanes, and damitas.
Choose the venue and then the rest of the planning should be a breeze. Your location will in large part reflect the theme for the Quinceanera, whether outdoor or indoor, and your décor and gifts should all tie in with this theme. Don't be constrained by what is considered “traditional." We suggest you go for the gusto and think out of the box when it comes to choosing the venue; remember it’s all about you. Some of your options may include:
- Bowling Alley
- A Yacht
- Amusement Park
- Outdoor Tent
When deciding on location, keep the following in mind:
1. Access: Is it easy for everyone to get to? If you’re having a religious celebration then you may decide to have the party in the church hall. After the mass is over everyone can easily make their way to the hall. Not only is this convenient it is also less expensive.
2. Accommodation: The site should be large enough to comfortably hold your guests. Make sure to look at; the number of bathrooms, kitchen area, and also consider parking.
Regardless of where you choose for the celebration, remember this should be the number one priority in all your Quinceanera party planning. You only turn 15 once - make it extra special in every way.
