Planning a perfect Quinceanera means keeping a thousand details in check while helping your daughter prepare for the biggest occasion of her young life. And unfortunately for most parents, a lot of those details involve money!
Naturally, you want to help guide your daughter as she creates her quince anos fiesta and finds the perfect gowns and accessories. But with all the temptations available to her, it's sometimes hard to help her clearly see the best choice. She can make her own decisions but she'll always need your help. A budget is a tricky thing for anyone, but these five steps can help.
There's a lot at the fiesta that's not necessarily the center of attention table linens, floral pieces for the background, and table services. These items don't have to be the fanciest or the most elaborate. Simply getting your ordinary store variety, or renting them from a catering company, is good enough.
Rent whenever possible.
Many of the larger items you'll need for the fiesta, such as tables and chairs, you're probably going to rent anyway. But don't overlook renting other items such as floral pieces, table linens, and attire for the damas and other male family guests. You'll save money and you won't have the storage or disposal problems after the fiesta concludes.
After the Quinceanera, return what's not used.
Don't unwrap anything more than you have to when decorating the Quince fiesta venue. This way, you return any unused items for a full refund. Just be careful to keep all the receipts in a separate file.
Shop smart at clearance sales, bridal expositions, and closeout stores.
Don't pay full retail price for anything unless you have to!
